Signing Up for TR Valley Gas Service

The Tongue River Valley Joint Powers Board (TRVJPB) was recently approved for a United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development (USDA) Community Facilities Loan and a Wyoming State Loan and Investment Board grant toward the final design and construction of the proposed Tongue River Valley natural gas utility. This funding is a huge leap toward bringing natural gas service to the valley.

We wish to thank the many valley residents who submitted their application for service by January 31, helping us to exceed the number of formal commitments required by the USDA as a condition of funding.

Valley residents who missed the January 31 deadline for discounted connection fees will again have the opportunity to sign up for service once construction commences.

With funding secured, we anticipate to begin connecting services within 18 months.
